Introduction
This Radio automation
software consist in three windows, One for Music, One for Commercials (Time Priority)
, and
One for loading lists of commercials at a defined time, Timing Window.

Use MP3DJ Broadcast radio automation software to broadcast live on
live365.com, create your own internet radio station in minutes, and
start broadcasting live using MP3DJ Broadcast as your music automation
system. MP3DJ is ebnabled to send out id3 tag data to live365.com
servers in order to keep your broadcast legal, and easy to find within
others internet radio station in the directory.

Window | 3. Timing Window
1. Music Window: It works in the
same way as MP3DJ Live! and PRO playing music and mix them together.
2. Time Priority Window: Will insert a play list in between the current Playing
playlist which is located in the Music window. Added functions are
"Insert Now" "Back To Music" "Prepare
Insert" "Abort" "Wait for current song to
end"
3. Timing Events Window: Will load a playlist at certain time and give the
order of "Prepare Insert" to the Time Priority Window.

Timing Window

This Widow shows the Plalists
to be Played and at what time. The clock will run until a Time in the
TimeList is found, will load that playlist and send a "Prepare
Insert" command to the Commercials Window (called Time Priority)
To open a TimeList click
File>Open and browse for .tmg files
To Save a TimeList click File>Save enter <fileneame> and click save
Add an event to the Timing
list

In the Timing window, click on "List" >> "Add Event
to List" this screen will show up.
An Event is actually a
playlist with the commercials to be broadcasted at a defined time.
1. Enter the time in the text boxes and select AM-PM with a click.
2. Then click Browse... and follow the standard windows procedure for
locating the playlist.
3. After that press Add Event and the playlist will be added to the time
list.
* if multiple inputs needed just start again from 1.
* 24hs format is also available. Add Event to Time List. see options.
Setup Log Folder Window

In the Music Window and in Time Priority
Window click on options "Setup Log Folder" this
window will show up.
Browse a folder in your computer or network to save the Log Files to,
and click ok.
This operation Must be done in both player windows, becasue they work
individually, if the same folder is selected in both windows then one unique
Log file will be generated registering events in both players.
** Write Log File: must be set to true (checked) in each window Music
and Time Priority, for the logs to be written by them.

each Time that the Write Log File is checked or unchecked one register is
generated in the log file and looks like this:

If an error ocurrs will look like this, displaying the error time and
file that generated the error:

One Log file is generated per day in the format YYYYMMDD.log
- 20040416.log
is the log file for April 16 of 2004.
Timing Options Window

In the Timing window, click on "Options" this screen will show up.
- Pre Load Sec: enter the amount of seconds of preload time of the
events in the timing window.
For example:
If a paylist of commercials must playout at 01:10:00 and Pre Load Sec
variable is set to 10 seconds then the playlist will be loaded at 01:09:50
and count down for 10 seconds until the exact time to play.
**This option will be overridden if "Wait for current song to
end" option is set to true in the time priority window.
-Time Format: Click on AM-PM label to change time format to 24hs.
Time Priority window instert commands

-Insert Now: Will abort any previous operations and insert (Play) the
loaded playlist in the Time Window.
-Back to Music: if a list of commercials is playing the go back to the music
window.
**In all cases the transition time and transition type when
transitioning from Music to Commercials and vice versa, will be taken from
the Time Priority Window. To know more about Transitions please see MP3DJ

Prepare Insert: Start the countdown, if you want the playlist to be
inserted now then use Insert Now Function.
Abort: Will abort any "Prepare Insert" operation.
if "Wait for current song to end" option is set to true then
the Time Priority Window will actually wait for current song to end and the
countdown label shows the time remaining of the song being played in the
Music Window.
